01 Create your PureLeads account Register, confirm your sign-in details, and access the dashboard.
  1. Open Create Account.
  2. Enter the requested username, email address, and password.
  3. Review and accept the applicable terms before submitting.
  4. Sign in and open your dashboard.

Use an email address you control and a unique password that you do not use on another website. Never share your password with support or another user.

02 Understand the PureLeads workflow Move from a category and location to organized business results.
  1. Choose the type of business you want to research.
  2. Enter a city, region, or practical service area.
  3. Select a result limit that fits your available credits.
  4. Run the search and wait for processing to finish.
  5. Review and download the supported result file.

PureLeads is a business research and organization tool. Results are a starting point for manual verification and qualification, not guaranteed customers.

03 Choose a useful category and location Write focused search inputs that match the market you can serve.

Use a recognizable business category such as plumber, dentist, roofing contractor, or commercial cleaning company.

Pair the category with a clear location such as Myrtle Beach, SC. Avoid combining many unrelated categories or several distant locations in one search. Separate searches are easier to review, export, and qualify.

04 Navigate your dashboard Review balances, jobs, lead counts, and recent account activity.

Your dashboard can provide quick access to:

  • Your current credit balance
  • The number of lead-search jobs associated with your account
  • Available lead-result totals
  • Recent jobs and their processing status
  • Controls for supported downloads or result delivery

Refresh the dashboard if a recently submitted job is still processing.

05 Change your username Update the account name displayed throughout PureLeads.
  1. Open My Account.
  2. Enter the new username.
  3. Select Save Account Details.

Usernames must be unique and may use the characters allowed by the account form. Your role, status, credits, and user ID cannot be changed from the standard account page.

06 Change your email address Securely replace the email used for sign-in and account notices.
  1. Open My Account: Email.
  2. Enter and confirm the new email address.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Submit the email-change form.

The new address must be valid and cannot already belong to another account. Current-password verification helps prevent an unattended signed-in session from being used to take over the account.

07 Change your password Replace your password and protect the active account session.
  1. Open My Account: Password.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter and confirm a new password of at least 12 characters.
  4. Select Change Password.

Use a password manager or a long, unique passphrase. PureLeads stores a one-way password hash rather than the plain password.

08 Troubleshoot sign-in problems Check credentials, account status, cookies, and browser settings.
  • Confirm that the username or email is typed correctly.
  • Check Caps Lock and password-manager entries.
  • Allow cookies and JavaScript for the PureLeads website.
  • Try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
  • Contact support if the account may be disabled.

Do not send your password, payment-card details, private keys, seed phrases, or security codes in a support request.

09 Understand how credits are charged One credit is used for each business successfully returned.

The standard PureLeads rule is: one credit for one business successfully returned by a billable search.

The requested maximum may be reserved when a search begins. After processing, the final charge should reflect the supported billing workflow and unused reserved credits may be restored. Review the current Terms and Refund Policy.

10 Buy additional credits Choose a current one-time or subscription package.
  1. Open Pricing.
  2. Compare the available package quantities and billing types.
  3. Select the package that fits your expected search volume.
  4. Complete the supported checkout process.
  5. Return to PureLeads and verify the updated balance.

Package prices, quantities, intervals, and availability can change. Review the live pricing page before every purchase.

11 Payment completed but credits are missing Allow payment confirmation, then collect details for support.
  1. Refresh the account or pricing page after a short wait.
  2. Confirm that the payment shows as successful.
  3. Do not purchase the same package repeatedly while waiting.
  4. Open a support request if the balance does not update.

Include your account email, transaction or payment identifier, package name, amount, and approximate purchase time. Never send a full payment-card number or security code.

12 Request a billing or credit review Provide the information needed to investigate a disputed charge.

Include the following in a support request:

  • Account email address
  • Payment or transaction identifier
  • Package name and purchase date
  • Search job ID, when the issue involves a search
  • A concise description of the expected and actual result

Refunds and credit restorations are governed by the current package terms, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy.

13 Start a new lead search Submit a business category, location, and manageable limit.
  1. Open Compile Leads.
  2. Enter the business category.
  3. Enter the city or service area.
  4. Select an appropriate maximum result count.
  5. Review the estimated credit requirement and submit.

Start with a smaller search in a market you understand. This makes it easier to evaluate result quality and refine the inputs.

14 Understand job statuses Know what pending, running, done, and failed generally mean.
  • Pending: the job is waiting for processing.
  • Running: supported sources and websites are being processed.
  • Done: processing finished and supported results may be available.
  • Failed: the job could not complete successfully.

Status labels depend on the current system implementation. A completed job can still contain fewer records than requested.

15 Why a search returns fewer businesses Availability, relevance, duplicates, and technical limits affect totals.

A search can return fewer records than requested because:

  • The location has fewer qualifying businesses
  • Supported sources contain incomplete listings
  • Duplicate records are removed
  • A provider limits or blocks a request
  • Some records cannot be processed reliably
  • The category or location is too narrow or ambiguous

Try a clearer category or a broader but still relevant location.

16 Understand website enrichment Learn why email and social fields vary between businesses.

When a supported record includes a public website, PureLeads may inspect relevant pages for published business emails and social profile links. Enrichment may fail or remain empty when:

  • The business has no website
  • The website is unavailable or blocks automated access
  • Contact details are loaded in an unsupported way
  • The business does not publish an email or social profile
  • The discovered information cannot be associated confidently
17 Download a completed CSV Open a completed job and save the supported result file.
  1. Open the dashboard or My Jobs.
  2. Locate a job with a completed status.
  3. Select the supported download action.
  4. Save the file to an appropriate secured location.

If the file is unavailable, confirm that processing is complete, refresh the page, and try again before opening a support request.

18 Open a CSV correctly in Excel Import using UTF-8 and the correct delimiter.
  1. Confirm that the download has a .csv extension.
  2. In Excel, choose the import-from-text or import-from-CSV option.
  3. Select UTF-8 encoding.
  4. Select comma as the delimiter when required.
  5. Review telephone, ZIP, and identifier columns before changing formats.

Importing instead of double-clicking gives you more control over character encoding and column interpretation.

19 Understand empty fields in results Not every business publishes every supported contact field.

Empty cells do not necessarily indicate a file error. A business may not have a website, publish an email, list a telephone number, maintain a supported social profile, or provide rating information.

Do not guess or fabricate missing information. Verify important fields using lawful and appropriate research methods.

20 Prepare results for a CRM Review, clean, deduplicate, and map fields before import.
  1. Save an unchanged copy of the original authorized export.
  2. Remove irrelevant or unnecessary records.
  3. Verify important contact and company fields.
  4. Deduplicate against existing CRM records.
  5. Map CSV columns to the correct CRM fields.
  6. Test with a small import before processing the full file.

Follow the CRM provider’s documentation and your organization’s access, retention, suppression, and deletion rules.

21 A job remains pending or running Allow processing time and avoid submitting unnecessary duplicates.

A job may wait for an available worker, payment confirmation, credit validation, source availability, or server capacity. Website enrichment can also add processing time.

Refresh the status after several minutes. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same search while the original is active. Contact support if the status remains unchanged for an unusual period.

22 A search failed Review input, credits, source availability, and the displayed error.

Common causes include:

  • Invalid or overly broad input
  • Insufficient available credits
  • Provider or connection errors
  • Temporary source blocks or rate limits
  • Browser automation or server-resource failures
  • Unavailable third-party services

Include the job ID and exact error text when contacting support. Verified platform failures may qualify for credit restoration.

23 The download is empty or unavailable Confirm completion, qualifying results, and file generation.
  • Confirm that the job status is complete.
  • Check whether the result count is greater than zero.
  • Refresh the job page and download again.
  • Try a current browser without an aggressive download blocker.
  • Confirm that security software did not quarantine the file.

If the issue remains, provide the job ID, account email, browser, approximate time, and a screenshot with sensitive data removed.

24 Browser and extension troubleshooting Use a current browser and test without conflicting extensions.
  • Update Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
  • Enable JavaScript, cookies, and secure HTTPS connections.
  • Temporarily test without script blockers or aggressive privacy extensions.
  • Try a private window to identify a cache or extension conflict.
  • Check whether a VPN, firewall, or corporate filter blocks a required request.

Do not disable organizational security controls without authorization from the system owner.

25 Verify business information Treat compiled data as a research starting point rather than a guarantee.

Business information can be incomplete, duplicated, incorrectly associated, or outdated. Before relying on a record:

  • Confirm the company identity and location
  • Visit the current official business website
  • Verify the telephone number or email when important
  • Check that the business fits the intended category
  • Remove records that are irrelevant or uncertain
26 Use email results responsibly A public email address is not automatic consent for marketing.

PureLeads does not provide legal permission to contact a business or person merely because an email appears in a result. Users are responsible for sender identification, truthful subject lines, relevance, consent where required, physical-address rules, opt-out handling, and suppression lists.

Review applicable laws and obtain professional legal advice for your specific campaign when necessary.

27 Telephone calls and text messages Do not assume a listed number permits automated contact.

A telephone number in a business listing does not establish consent for an automated call, prerecorded message, or text. Users are responsible for do-not-call requirements, consent, identification, time-of-day restrictions, opt-outs, and all federal, state, and local rules.

Use appropriate legal review before launching calling or messaging campaigns.

28 Protect downloaded result files Restrict access, retain only what is needed, and dispose securely.
  • Store result files only in authorized locations.
  • Limit access to people with a legitimate business need.
  • Avoid sending unprotected files through insecure channels.
  • Honor applicable correction, suppression, and deletion requests.
  • Delete unnecessary files according to an appropriate retention policy.

Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for additional information.
